Job Description:

Due to company growth, we are looking to hire a full-time Inspector to join our current staff. This position requires attention to detail and must be able to take precise measurements using a variety of tools.

To be successful as an Inspector, you should be able to be team orientated, have good communication skills, and be able to keep accurate inspection records. Here at Summit Pump, we pride ourselves in delivering quality products on time. Due to the nature of when our product arrives, it is imperative that any candidates have a solid work background and are a reliable employee that we can depend on. 

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take precise measurements using Metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, and height gauge)

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pay attention to detail. 

  • Must be able to take precise measurements 

  • Follow company inspection procedures 

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively 

  • Could lift up to 50 lbs. 

  • Must be team orientated, have good communication skills, and able to keep inspection records 

  • Must have a Machinist background and experience (Technical College degree preferred) 

  • Must be able to read prints
